As a soloist and ensemble member, Doug has captivated audiences throughout the Midwest—including Chicago, Milwaukee, Lake Geneva, the Twin Cities, Door County, and everywhere in between. His unique blend of instrumental jazz, smooth jazz, and easy listening brings warmth and elegance to a wide range of events and venues.

Performing on both trumpet and piano—often accompanied by expertly produced backing tracks—Doug delivers engaging, high-quality musical experiences tailored to each setting. From music festivals, fairs, and community events to fine dining establishments, country clubs, and private gatherings, Doug’s performances consistently elevate the atmosphere and leave a lasting impression.

 

Throughout his career, Doug has performed in classical settings with orchestras such as the Wisconsin Philharmonic, the Festival City Orchestra, the Beloit Symphony Orchestra, and the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra.  He has also played in numerous pit orchestras for productions like Mame, Anything Goes, West Side Story, and Beauty and the Beast, showcasing his adaptability.  He is often found performing for private events and public venues on piano and trumpet, accompanied by high quality, expertly produced backing tracks.
